Welcome to Morningtide, a modern home designed for entertaining. The ocean breeze and golf course views make this the ultimate indoor-outdoor living space. We worked with Gonterman Construction and Jeffrey A. Dahl Architecture to design and develop this Huntington Beach dream home. LET’S GET COOKIN’
We had so much fun designing this kitchen that opens to the dining area and outdoor living space, making it the ideal place to entertain. Complete with layered natural light pendants and a plaster hood paired with t he marble backsplash, Morningtide is ready for a party!
WIDE OPEN SPACES
Open-shelving is one of our favorite additions to the modern kitchen. They visually open up the space and provide an opportunity for artistic styling that can add warmth and interest. See how we used art, glassware, and kitchen accessories to style the shelves.
COZY & REFINED.
The warm and inviting furnishings in this room play up the beautiful yet simple plaster fireplace wall. Instead of a traditional mantel, we created a simple ledge to make the space feel more modern. The exposed stone with wood shelving provides the perfect touch to add interesting accents and decor.
YOU’RE INVITED
The arched bar adds a dramatic moment between the living room and kitchen. We love this dark tile from Spain contrasted by the light marble countertop and natural cabinetry. The bar also includes an ice maker and refrigerator drawers so you can easily make cocktails for all of your guests!
SOAK IT ALL IN
This master bathroom is the perfect place to relax after a long day. We kept it simple with a neutral color palette, but played with various textures to create dimension. The mix of black and brass hardware gives the space a modern, but timeless style.
FLUFF & FOLD
Laundry rooms don’t have to be boring! We love how the natural light highlights the terrazzo countertop & how it ties together the dark cabinetry and light backsplash.
